Individuals have been slinging ales on the White Horse Tavern since 1880, making it the town’s second oldest bar. When it opened, it attracted dockworkers who toiled on the Hudson River. Within the Fifties, it turned a major spot for writers, poets, and musicians equivalent to Bob Dylan, Jim Morrison, and Norman Mailer. Welsh poet Dylan Thomas was stated to like the place a lot, he haunts the bar. Perhaps he’s interested in the unique woodwork and tin ceiling. A historic landmark, the White Horse is a cease on many NYC ghost excursions.
